We are modeled after the Science in the Parks at Weber State University, but a past volunteer had the idea to start Science in the Parks in Salt Lake City as a Bennion Center Scholar Capstone Project. The Salt Lake Science in the Parks launched for the first time in the summer of 2019.

We run this program at the University of Utah as a student organization where we create activities for the youth we will work with in the summer.

 

Without the work of our students and the support of several community organizations this organization would not function so we are extremely thankful to them all.
