Blood is made up of a lot of different things

Red blood cells: carry oxygen

Hemoglobin, which is a protein in RBCs and it carries the iron which hold oxygen. This is important to help you live because your cells need oxygen.

White blood cells: important to your immune system, fight germs, bacteria and viruses.

Platelets: help out blood clot when you cut your finger or something.
